Altamar Charters yachts depart from IGY Marina Cabo San Lucas and Marina Cabo San Lucas, 5 minutes from downtown and the marina boardwalk. For departures from San José del Cabo we arrange boarding at Puerto Los Cabos. SJD airport is 40 minutes from the marina.
In Los Cabos, prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) per hour with a 3-hour minimum. A 48 ft Azimut starts around $2,300 USD for 3 hours and the 75 ft Sunseeker runs about $6,700 USD for 5 hours. Captain and crew included.
Captain + crew, fuel, water, soft drinks, ice, snorkel gear, and life vests. An all-inclusive option adds open bar and food on board. Guests above the base capacity are charged per person; catering, DJ, and decoration are priced separately.
Typical routes: The Arch of Cabo San Lucas (El Arco), Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach, snorkeling at Pelican Rock, Chileno Bay and Santa María Bay, and the Tourist Corridor coastline toward San José del Cabo. Sunset cruises around the bay are also available.
December through April. Humpback and gray whales gather at the tip of the Baja peninsula and are spotted from the yacht without leaving the route; the captain adjusts the course to the day’s sightings. January to March is peak season.
The Los Cabos fleet hosts 10 to 25 guests per yacht: the 48 ft Azimut for groups up to 12, the 55 ft Azimut up to 16, and the 75 ft Sunseeker up to 25. For larger groups we coordinate two yachts with synchronized departure.
Yes. Los Cabos is a sport-fishing capital (marlin, mahi-mahi, tuna) and we arrange fishing charters on request. The 3-hour sunset cruise past The Arch is the most requested trip for couples and celebrations.
