Who we are
Altamar Charters is a private yacht charter company founded in 2025 by Eduardo Mata. We connect private groups with a curated fleet of 40+ yachts across four destinations: Cancún, Puerto Aventuras, Cozumel, and Miami.
Every charter ships with a professional captain and crew, fuel, water, ice, soft drinks, snorkel gear, and life vests included. Premium add-ons — private chef, DJ, decoration, photography — are coordinated through the same WhatsApp channel that powers the rest of the booking.
We are 5.0 ★ on Google across hundreds of charters, and the team operates bilingually in English and Spanish.

The team
Altamar Charters was founded by Eduardo Mata, who also runs ChatConcierge — the booking infrastructure that powers every quote and reservation behind the scenes.
Operations are handled by a bilingual concierge team, and each yacht is run by its own captain and crew, all with extensive experience in their home marina. Captains in Cancún and Cozumel are local to the Mexican Caribbean; the Miami fleet operates under USCG-licensed captains.
Fleet & safety
Our fleet ranges from 26 ft sport boats up to 100 ft mega-yachts — catamarans, sport-yachts, sailing yachts, and mega-yachts. All yachts in the Altamar catalog carry vessel insurance, and every charter includes life vests, first-aid kit, and safety briefing from the captain before departure.

How booking works
- Pick a yacht on the city landing (Cancún, Miami, Puerto Aventuras, or Cozumel).
- Send a WhatsApp message to +52 56 3954 1062 with date, group size, and yacht preference.
- Receive a quote and confirm with a 50% deposit by card or bank transfer.
- Settle the balance on the day of the charter at the marina.
